Last Thursday, 2nd May, was a bit of a milestone. I stood in the buff on my scales and uttered a modest whoop of delight when the little digital display told me I had hit the hallowed 70kg mark. This means I have gained 7.5kg, or a little over a stone, in about 6 weeks and this has resulted in me feeling pretty much human again, for the first time since long before Christmas. This is in no small part due to the combined efforts of a regular low dose of Dexamethasone and an e
Crikey. What a bloody week. Stuffed full of lows, with a dusting of highs and everything in between. We met the oncologist last Friday (8th Feb) who told us that things have deteriorated by a fairly alarming degree. Not a happy memory. Bekky said recently how much that whole o
Aside from my witterings about Decembeard, it's been a while since I last updated you on our cancerous journey and, in that time, quite a lot and yet surprisingly little has happened... There's been Christmas... I've gained a new godson (s'up Oscar) We've had a new bathroom fitted ...which is now actually finished (Thanks Roddles!) We're now so grown up that we own a real life dishwasher... and, most astonishing of all, Donald Trump is still President of the United States...
